Carrie teaches with
alignment-focused perspective combining the traditional teachings of
Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras with influences from Iyengar therapeutics and
Pathabhi Jois’ Astanga Yoga. She has practiced yoga since childhood
and is certified through Tias Little’s Prajna Yoga training program. She has furthered her asana, anatomy,
and yoga therapy studies with advanced teachers Sean Tebor and Doug
Keller, and studies the teachings of Swami Rama of the Himalayas, and his
successor Pandit Rajmani Tigunait of the Himalayan Institute. Carrie is registered with Yoga Alliance
as an experience yoga teacher and is pursuing her 500-hour advanced
teacher studies. She is also the director & primary ERYT with the
College of Yoga Studies and a yoga therapist.
Emily’s
teaching style is a non-dogmatic combination of classical and
contemporary techniques drawn from the best major systems today. She received her first yoga teacher
training in Nepal from the Satyananda Yoga Centre, then studied several
other yoga programs in Rishikesh, India.
She completed her second yoga teacher training at White Lotus
Foundation with Ganga White and Tracey Rich in Santa Barbara. She continues her studies at Peachtree
Yoga in Atlanta and at the College of Yoga Studies.
Herman
has
practiced yoga with special emphasis on meditation for over seven years,
He studies the philosophies & meditation practices of the Siddha
Yoga lineage through the teachings of Swami Muktananda &
Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. He has
completed InnerSphere Yoga’s 200-hour yoga teacher training and is an
assisting teacher for the College of Yoga Studies
